It’s A Level results day and these 18 reactions get straight As
It’s A Level results day for England and Wales, with teachers saying the exams are more difficult than before, whilst journalists and miserable gits on the internet, who presumably have better insight, say that they’ve become too easy. Students will find out if they’ve got their first choice of university, or whether they have to spend the day phoning UCAS’ clearing facility to scoop up whatever’s left. Either way, if they take their results slip to Nando’s, they can eat for free.
We took a look at how people were reacting.
Some students were in a mild panic.

Non-student Twitter had plenty to say on the subject.

Congrats to all the 18 yr olds who got exam results today and aren’t on Twitter and thus won’t be aware or care about the messages from old people, grumbling about exams being easier and apologising about how we fucked up your future because we were drunk on petrol and nostalgia!

Good luck to everyone getting their #alevelresults2019 today! No matter how you do, just remember, if we can call a TV channel 'Dave' and get away with it, then you can do anything you put your mind to. We believe in you.

Don't worry about your A-level results. All that matters is whether your parents are rich. Otherwise you won't be able to afford a home, live in a big city, pay off your debts, or work for free in order to get the experience for a decent job. Good luck!

Don't worry if you didn't get the A-level results you wanted, but only if you're rich, white and beautiful #alevelresults2019
