19 baffling examples of weird, useless or ugly design

There can’t be many of us who haven’t had a little grumble about a design problem about the house: the dining room that’s so narrow it can fit a table or chairs, the fireplace that’s slightly off centre and raises your blood pressure, the fridge that isn’t within reach when you want a snack, forcing you to get out of your seat. Maybe not that last one.

But, some problems are bigger than others, as this post by copywriter, Sarah Schauer demonstrates.

Some people just had to comment on the highly problematic design in Sarah’s photo.

Others had their own design fails to present. These are the worst we saw, possibly that we’ll ever see. For some reason, there are quite a few toilets.

Some were impractical.
