This marvellously unashamed dad joke was made even better by the puntastic replies
There is a small number of people on Twitter who can legitimately be described as its treasure, and among those is, beyond all shadow of a doubt, the poet, presenter and proud son of Barnsley, Ian McMillan. He often delights his followers with whimsical observations of the world around him, but he’s not afraid to throw in a belter of a dad joke if he fancies it – like this one.
Visited the birthplace of the man who invented the toothbrush. There’s no plaque.
