There’s something a bit McNSFW about these Japanese McDonald’s cups
If there’s one image that fast-food giant McDonald’s wants to maintain, it’s that of being family friendly, which works perfectly if you focus on the Happy Meal toys, the free colouring pages, or even the jovial clown, but not when you see what’s on these McFizz cups in Japan.
Here’s how they look when they’re full.
And there’s a little surprise when they’re empty.
Cute and innocent, right? Not so much when they’re held at certain angles …
We can’t see Ronald McDonald approving of this.
Someone called @ankorerorero318 found a way to make them less heteronormative – with the cunning use of two cups.
The cups are still available, but we have a sneaking suspicion they’ll be replaced pretty quickly, so if you know anyone who’s visiting Japan, now would be a good time for them to go for a McFizz or two and bring you back a future collector’s item.
