This 96-year-old’s court appearance for speeding will give you feelings
When a driver is charged with speeding, they can expect to land somewhere on the sliding scale of punishments, including being sent for a speed awareness course, receiving penalty points, a hefty fine and, in extreme cases, imprisonment and a ban. When a 96-year-old appeared in a US court on a charge of speeding in a school zone, things went very differently.
MY HEART. IM CRYING 😭
FATHER OF THE YEAR FOREVER 😭❤
Also this judge, Judge Frank Caprio, is a HERO. We need more judges like him.

The clip has been viewed more than twenty-four million times, with most people finding themselves cheering on the judge, and maybe getting a little emotional.
There are many, many, many good people. It’s the arse holes who have the loudest voices. ♥️ https://t.co/P82hmjVLui

There is the letter of the law, and the spirit of the law. This magistrate gets it! Two very fine gentlemen who are both great examples for us all. Thanks for sharing that!

However, another issue lurked under the compassionate outcome.
Perhaps in a more equitable society, some kind of assistance program might take the 63-year-old son to the doctor or provide funds for some kind of taxi service. This actually shows how the American health service is failing.

Yes, the man is a good father. But we should not live in world where a 96 year old man still needs to physically care for his son. Can’t we come up with better services? I watched hoping the judge would order him some type of medical assistance

Awe so sad no-one to help that man and his sick son. Imagine if you had socialism like NZ someone would come and take them to the hospital or take the blood from them at home whilst someone else would cook them lunch and clean their house.. so sad to watch this.

Donald Trump will probably sort that out, right after he cures AIDS and cancer.
