Dominic Raab tried to gaslight the UK but Mishal Husain wasn’t having it
Along with the rest of Boris Johnson’s Leave-promoting cabinet, Dominic Raab has been studiously trying to convince anyone who’ll listen that the UK realised a no-deal Brexit was on the cards since before the referendum. When he appeared on BBC Radio 4’s Today Programme to speak to Mishal Husain, he pushed that case again.

Unfortunately for Dominic Raab, a recording popped up of what he actually said about leaving without a deal.
MUST-WATCH: New foreign Secretary Dominic Raab claimed today that the 2016 referendum is a mandate for No Deal.
But what did he actually say during that referendum? 🤔 pic.twitter.com/zBSYD0vzf0

Surely if people really looked, the internet would have something to back up his claim.
Dominic Raab insists he warned voters about the risks of a no-deal Brexit while fighting the EU referendum campaign. But @factcheck can't find any evidence of an interview where he talks about the dangers of no deal.

Currently on my umpteenth combination of search terms in an attempt to find out when Raab mentioned that the UK might have to leave without a deal during the referendum campaign.
Proving fruitless so far.
Does anyone happen to have any links?https://t.co/FHHgMnK77d

We can just imagine scores of Brexiters furiously googling in vain, since nobody managed to find a link for her. Quelle surprise!
His attempt to gaslight the country didn’t go down very well.
Excellent forensic questioning from @MishalHusain … and Raab stutters and sweats like he's been caught trying to sell a dodgy TV in a pub. https://t.co/mz7QuV56Rk

If you needed further clarity that irrepressible soul vacuum Dominic Raab is a brazenly dishonest chancer, here he is pretending that no deal was what was sold all along – before blaming the BBC when he can't think of any examples to support his claim.pic.twitter.com/u98FntC1uS

Lying. They have to. Nothing will justify what they plan to do. They will make everyone poorer, crash businesses, make 2.5 million people redundant, sell the NHS, allow the USA to provide drugs at inflated prices, bring USA health insurance in to bankrupt us all. Unjustified lies https://t.co/sQiJipp7fE

Artist @MooseAllain cut through the Gordian Knot of debate with this comment.
‘Dominic Raab’ is an anagram of ‘moronic liar’. I mean, it’s not, but he doesn’t give a fuck about the truth either.
