A lot of us are practically enslaved by apps these days, with our ever-present phones pinging, ringing and bellowing out embarrassing songs just at the wrong moment. You only have to look at the internet after a Facebook, Whatsapp or Twitter outage to realise how far down the rabbit hole most of us are, so it’s no surprise that when faced with the #AwfullyBritishPhoneApps hashtag, you weren’t stuck for ideas.
