Celebrate Richard Branson’s birthday with the time he was brutally owned by Frankie Boyle
It’s Richard Branson’s 69th birthday which ordinarily would mean less than nothing to us.
But it’s as good an excuse as ever to enjoy this all-time great takedown of the Virgin founder by Frankie Boyle.
It started when Branson tweeted about his concerns for the environment in the wake of a the devastation caused in Florida and the Caribbean by Hurricane Irma. Branson’s conclusion – man-made climate change is to blame.
To which Boyle replied …
Not often (ever?) that 7 words have been so satisfying.
And of course he wasn’t the only one to make a connection. Just not quite in the same style, that’s all.
it’s a good thing you never owned a company that burned millions of gallons of jet fuel and put tons of added carbon into the atmosphere
