11 comebacks to Donald Trump’s “I don’t have a racist bone in my body” claim

You can’t have failed to notice the uproar surrounding racist subtweets posted by Donald Trump and clearly aimed at four congresswomen of colour. These are the petulant, dog-whistling comments.

The women in question, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar, Ayanna Pressley, and Rashida Tlaib, are all American citizens, three born in the USA and one, Ilhan Omar, resident there since 1992, several years before Melania Trump moved to America.

Having been widely condemned for the tweets, and facing official censure from the Democrat-ruled House of Representatives, Trump had another internet outburst – what a shocker.

The takedowns came thick and fast.
