The owner of a small business had the perfect takedown of a fake review
Now that it’s easy to leave public feedback for companies, products and experiences, we’re seeing a rising number of revenge reviews – bad write-ups fabricated to harm a business after they’ve refused to put up with any crap from a customer. It’s always delightful to see one of these shot down in flames, and particularly so when the customer has made such a malicious accusation as racism.
These screenshots show what happened when an idiot left an awful review of Blade & Timber KC, an axe-throwing establishment in Kansas. Yes, that is a thing.
An unfounded accusation of racism against a business is bad enough, but this one clearly intended to get the unwitting Jordan fired. But, that’s not how it played out.
That last part translates as a delightful “F_ck you!” to “George”.
“For all the Hispanic community, I assure you that you are welcome. As a tribute to fake George, we are offering a discount of 15% to every person who can read this message and trusts that we are on the right side.
For your discount code, simply enter “GeorgeIsALiar” when you place your booking. Thank you very much.”
As much as we loved that, there was some pretty tasty icing on the cake.
