A couple charged people £100 each to come to their wedding and the entire internet said no

Weddings can be very expensive, and it’s only after you get married does it dawn on you just how many important things you could have bought with the money (or maybe that’s just us).

This couple came up with a novel way of easing the financial burden – by charging guests £100 (or $125, strictly speaking) to come along.

Yes! Except … NO!

This woman was so unimpressed she went on Facebook to tell everyone about it. She wasn’t just unimpressed by having to pay, she was doubly pissed off by how little she got for her money.

Which all reminds us of this old Woody Allen gag.

There’s an old joke – um… two elderly women are at a Catskill mountain resort, and one of ’em says, “Boy, the food at this place is really terrible.” The other one says, “Yeah, I know; and such small portions.”

Anyway, this is what people made of it on Facebook and just for once, the entire internet was united.
