People love Johanna Konta’s response to the journalist trying to mansplain competitive sport
After ending her 2019 Wimbledon challenge with a defeat to the unseeded Barbora Strycova, Johanna Konta‘s post-match press conference took an awkward turn when one journalist appeared to badger her about racking up faults.
"Please don't patronise me."

Accusing the reporter of patronising her, she added
“I’m a professional competitor who did her best today, and that’s all there is to that.”
There was a lot of love for her handling of the question.
Really admire this not only because armchair experts ARE THE FUCKING WORST in the world of sport but also this is one of those moments I’d go all high pitched & cry out of frustration rather than give a good retort so she’s a better woman than me. https://t.co/K9mZOzWdKL

Shut him up like a boss. Shouldn’t have to of course. And it will be her fault. https://t.co/MxmXds6NPW
