This American congressman fell for this ‘Few Good Men’ prank and it’s rather joyous

A salutary lesson for politicians – and anyone else – asked to retweet something without properly checking it first.

A chap called Ken Klippenstein tweeted Republican congressman Steve King asking for an Independence Day shoutout for his ‘uncle’, Colonel Nathan Jessup.

Now you might recognise Colonel Jessup. Fortunately for everyone concerned, Steve King didn’t.

We’re presuming the congressman found out what had happened, well, he couldn’t handle the truth (sorry).
