A Brexit Party MEP complained about having to travel to Strasbourg and was murdered with words
Newly-elected Brexit MEP David Bull isn’t happy and we know he isn’t happy because he went on Twitter to complain about it.
Specifically, Dr Bull’s not happy with the eight hours it takes him to travel from Ipswich to Strasbourg (where the European parliament is) for his new job. Probably shouldn’t have stood for election then.
The insanity of the journey to the EU Parliament in Strasbourg . Eight plus hours . Four trains and a huge waste of taxpayers money . We the @brexitparty_uk must deliver and get us out of the EU pic.twitter.com/shXQbNB1Pn

Rest assured that the rest of the world had a moment to put him right. We read them so you don’t have to, and these are the very best.

I suppose the lesson that David needs to learn is not to apply for a job if he is then going to complain about the location of the job despite knowing that he would be based here when he applied for the job. https://t.co/sx5m2419om

So you change trains three time in the UK and er just once in France…… Is it possible David that Ipswich – not Strasbourg is in the inaccessible place? https://t.co/AbbmXmRTip

Then don't apply for a job in Strasbourg, you fucking idiot.

Dr Bull was back on Twitter later – presumably he was still on the train – in an effort to put the mockers right.
Just to clarify for the unpleasant twitterers. I made that video because the UK voted to leave the EU 3 years ago. We shouldn’t have any MEPs. No one should be in Strasbourg. Democracy has been overridden. But now we are there, the @brexitparty_uk MEPs are going to cause a stink
