This Boris Johnson tweet hasn’t aged well – the only six reactions you need
Sky was forced to shelve a planned leadership debate on Monday, due to the fact that only one prospective leader was prepared to turn up – and it wasn’t Boris Johnson. The MP has been increasingly criticised for his reluctance to face scrutiny from journalists and the public, as well as a distinct lack of detail in his Brexit plans.
Jeremy Hunt addressed his opponent’s unwillingness to engage.
ICYMI: this morning on GMB I explained we must give members the respect they deserve and engage in head-to-head debates before postal ballots have landed. #HastobeHunt pic.twitter.com/xBPtZVIHs4

What makes his stance even more incredible is this old tweet he addressed to Ed Miliband.
Come on then Miliband tell us what you would cut you cowardy custard. #leadersdebate

Of course, Twitter couldn’t let that go unmentioned, which led to these delightful takedowns.

Rich to refer to anyone as a custard, when your entire public persona is that of a sentient blancmange. https://t.co/2CZ7DaVUwW
