8 brutal takedowns of the Tory MP who used this to excuse Boris Johnson ducking C4’s debate
Boris Johnson will be ’empty chaired’ at Sunday’s Channel 4 Tory leadership debate, the only one of the contenders refusing to take part.
Johnson, of course, has denied hiding from the media or refusing to take questions. And in a bid to justify his no-show on Sunday, Tory MP (and Johnson backer) James Cleverly had this to say on Twitter.
