With an impressive, yet baffling, lead in the first round of voting to pick the next Prime Minister, it’s likely that Boris Johnson has got it in the bag – along with documents he was supposed to read a year ago, a broken comb and the phone number of his next girlfriend. That doesn’t mean we can’t dream of a world where people make better choices, which is why Amy Milliken asked this:
