Correction of the day
To Gizmodo, which had a big story about a drug company facing huge fines over a doctor bribery scandal.
A shocking story (you can read the whole thing here) made even better after we noticed where they filed it to: ‘Who’s fucking you today’.
But the real reason we’re here is this correction.
An all time classic.
CORRECTION: Gizmodo originally stated that drug company Mallinckrodt had jacked up the price of an anti-seizure medication from $40 in 2000 to over $40,000 today. A spokesperson for Mallinckrodt emailed to request a correction that the drug costs $38,892. https://t.co/o5NW7APhkZ pic.twitter.com/8wE3AYpMSy

Can we calibrate a guillotine to only go 97.23% of the way through? That seems fair, in this case.

I can’t even roll my eyes as hard as this response deserves.
