This weatherman totally flips at the complaints about his tornado warning
On this side of the Atlantic. our dangerous storms tend to be few and far between, although they’re becoming more frequent and severe, thank you, climate-change deniers. Over on the American continents, however, some states and countries live in fear of catastrophic events like tornados, hurricanes, and Trumps.
When weatherman Jamie Simpson was trying to update the viewers on an impending tornado, he was mightily pissed off by the reactions on social media.

To make matters worse, the show they were missing – The Bachelorette – is a reality show on which a woman chooses a husband – or not – from a couple of dozen shallow idiots hopefuls.
Here’s how people reacted.
@JasonBoyerWLOS I believe we had this same problem here a few weeks ago. You can’t win some days. You’d be crucified if people didn’t get enough warning, yet you have to listen to the stupidity of people who are upset over a TV show!

This is what I'm going to do next time and I may not be as nice as this guy! https://t.co/kPkmQgOBrq

I live in Central Ohio, less than an hour from Dayton. We had tornado warnings in our area as well, and had to shelter in the basement. This shit is REAL, people! The Bachelorette/Bachelor is NOT!! MoFos need to get their priorities right! Thanks, weatherman for doing your job!! https://t.co/Yn047zNEPN

With that clip going viral, it looked like Jamie wasn’t any happier about press attention than he had been about the online complaints.
To all the National media outlets wanting to talk to me:
We had an EF-3/4 tornado last night, more severe possibly the next three days … let me do my job please.— Jamie Simpson (@JamieFOX45Now) May 28, 2019
Which is fair enough. We very much hope everyone is safe.
