‘Breaking open an Obsidian rock’ is the mostly oddly satisfying thing you’ll watch this week

Obsidian rock is of course – Google, Google – a naturally occurring volcanic glass formed as an extrusive igneous rock.

Of course it is! And Obsidian is produced when felsic lava extruded from a volcano cools rapidly with minimal crystal growth. We knew that.

Anyway, we only mention this because watching this chap break one open is an oddly satisfying watch. Like, really satisfying.
