Nigel Farage complained about paying for a TV licence – the only 7 responses you need
Since his drubbing at the hands of Andrew Marr, the volatile Brexit campaigner, Nigel Farage, has been intermittently spluttering with rage like an alarmingly active volcano. To draw attention to his hissy fit opinion piece in the Telegraph, he tweeted this:
During the past fortnight, I paid my BBC licence fee. I’m beginning to wonder why. https://t.co/pH30wvej6Y

It seemed a little odd to some people, seeing as the largely absentee MEP has been given an offshore bank account’s worth of free publicity by the BBC for years. These responses sum up the feeling.

Mate, if everyone got the value out of the BBC that you do, I'd've been the lead in Fleabag. https://t.co/P7VPvyxtM5

Is it because they have you on eleven times a week to spew your dishonest, xenophobic bollocks virtually unchallenged so it’s really the fucking least you can do?

Does… does he think paying your license fee means they have to put you on TV? https://t.co/TR64PEPPKu

Because it's the law. And where else would you get your expenses? Apart from the European Union's Parliament.

Farage, who appeared on the BBC twice last week, performatively acting like he hates the BBC.
Same way he claims to hate the EU while happily claiming an MEPs salary and pension.
If you actually believe anything this dyed-in-the-wool grifter says, you're an unsalvageable fool https://t.co/X9mMeInpLh

I pay my licence fee too and when I see you there constantly vomiting your lies, I wonder why too. https://t.co/iCdZVHMt8h

Twitter user @Richardzigger had a solution.

That might work.
