A group of friends made fake election posters to get one of their bunch a date

Over on Twitter, Eoin Keene has shared a photo of yet another election poster, but this one is a little different – and also not really an election poster.

Like any good canvassing team, Darren Coen’s mates have been spreading awareness.

Spotted on Ranelagh Road in Dublin…

A fake election poster for "independent and single" Galway man Darren Coen, who, friends say, is not looking to get elected, but looking for love.

“The candidate for Love” has even made it onto the air, which is bound to give his campaign a bit of oomph, if it isn’t breaking purdah rules.
