The Annunziata Rees-Mogg guide to making money out of other people’s misery
On Twitter SheRa Marley-Threepwood has been delving into the murky journalism of Jacob Rees-Mogg’s sister and Brexit Party candidate, Annunziata. This illuminating thread highlights in grotesque detail the ‘disaster capitalism’ practised by Brexit fanatics, and makes for an uncomfortable read.
Anyone would think they were deliberately pushing for a chaotic Brexit which would enable them to stuff their own pockets with the profits such misery would bring about for a fantastically rich, but morally bankrupt, opportunistic investor.

WRONG
It’s just lovely if you invested in Indian tea producers or like importing tea
Not so good if you’re one of 3m Kenyans surviving famine but pic.twitter.com/UzDXck4Zh2

What about the global water crisis, which causes untold deaths, entrenches poverty and geographical dislocation? pic.twitter.com/jwc2leu3iQ

MEGALOLZ just jokes, water is totally a growth commodity
Maybe if you stopped dying long enough to invest in some of this “blue gold” you wouldn’t be in this pickle, children pic.twitter.com/w2xP3viJcI

Another story: our aging population
Or, to Annunziata, how to PLAY the aging population pic.twitter.com/z0G2Wo1cCv

It’s bad news for the elderly. Bad news for the NHS. Bad news for the government. Bad news for the taxpayer
Quite nice news for private care providers and their investors, as it turns out pic.twitter.com/dEBrATvjnL

At least the cold snap of 2005 gave her a chance to reflect. High risk of deaths, they predicted pic.twitter.com/ul15VSbNoS

But, ever the optimist, Annunziata states where there are losers (dead old people) there will always be winners (gas storage companies)

At least she acknowledges the millions living in fuel poverty.

Hidden in amongst the gleeful orgy of disaster capitalism are some truly amazing takes.

Now before you comment: this was not a job she took to keep a roof over her head as a young graduate struggling to pay bills. This view of the world is ingrained in her family, her circles and her (now former) Tory party

And it is endlessly grotesque to see people extol the virtues of Christianity and traditional values, whilst profiteering from pain

This isn’t about the world of investments. It’s not even about money. It’s about the presentation of oneself and ones values to the electorate. They aren’t people of the people. It’s an utter fallacy. pic.twitter.com/M5R07mX0cr

And, in Annunziata’s case, it’s screams more about her sense of being cheated out of a seat in the commons by Cameron, than the British people being cheated by Brexit. As demonstrated above, she doesn’t much care for people. pic.twitter.com/F3fvC3N7iZ

This thread. Bloody hell, she’s putting in a valiant effort to snatch the crown of most awful Rees-Mogg. Who saw that coming?

You’ve just perfectly described the Rees-Moggs. Money out of the misery of others.
