Jürgen Klopp’s post-match interview went viral because of the naked joy – and the swearing
Before the second leg of the Champions League semi-final last night, it would have been hard to find a pundit who would have fancied Liverpool’s chances of climbing back from their 3-0 first-leg defeat by Barcelona. Yet, with a scoreline of 4-0 at Anfield, in front of a jubilant home crowd, that’s what they did.
Football fan, Prince William, instantly offered his congratulations via Twitter.
Well done Liverpool – an incredible result, what a comeback! W

When they cut back to Gary Lineker in the studio, he refused to apologise for the slip, saying “I think he’s perfectly entitled to after that.”
Congratulations to @LFC. It was an absolute delight to be there to witness one of the greatest nights in the history of European football. A truly astonishing performance. 👏👏👏

If anyone put money on a 4-0 win with Origi and Wijnaldum getting two each, may I be the first to congratulate you on the purchase of your solid gold water slide tomorrow.
