A racist tried to shut down a taco truck and the community had the best response

A woman in Dallas, Texas was incensed by the presence of a taco truck on her street, but instead of trying to approach the issue in a reasonable way, she was incredibly rude to the vendors, implying they must be illegal immigrants and threatening to call the immigration service. Footage of the incident made its way onto YouTube.

Viewers weren’t impressed by the woman, dubbed “Taco Tammy”.

However, the community came together to react to the incident in the best possible way – through the League of United Latin American Citizens, they organised a Mariachi and Tacos party, at which they declared tacos the national food of Texas.
