The brilliant moment a Starbucks coffee cup turned up in Game of Thrones
In a show full of unexpected plot twists, then this was surely the most unexpected moment on Game of Thrones – a Starbucks takeaway coffee cup accidentally left behind on set during the series’ latest episode.
And unlike that time when someone said they spotted a lorry in the background – turned out it was a behind the scenes feature, not the real thing – this one really happened.

And this is what it said on it. Probably.

And the fun didn’t stop there.
Except the name wouldn't be spelled correctly

Fun Fact: Starbucks was originally called “Starkbucks” and was founded shortly before the Battle of Winterfell #GameOfThrones pic.twitter.com/i66SZbixi4

Someone blamed the lighting on the show for the mistake. Or rather, the lack of it.
If they bothered using lights they might have seen the Starbucks they left in the shot. https://t.co/5pUqFxzEla

To conclude …
imagine having a $15-million-per-episode budget yet not having anyone on staff who can notice a Starbucks cup on a 15th century set i'm dying https://t.co/6m0TiZcqBA
