A guy on Tinder said this woman’s dress ‘did her no favours’ so ASOS gave her the ultimate last word
Here’s a tale that finishes with a twist to put a smile on your face.
It began when a woman called Thea Chippendale was told by a guy on Tinder that the dress she was wearing in her picture was doing her no favours.
Not that she asked for his advice, obviously.
Men are trash. (Included the pic he’s on about 🙃) pic.twitter.com/3pi6NHl0Oy

She posted the exchange on Twitter and got all sorts of sympathetic and supportive replies as you might imagine.
As if he matched with you just to say that

Some guy matched with me once just to tell me he didn’t like my eyebrows

Well I think you look stunning and everyone knows validation off another female is worth 100x more than a Male ❤️

His ex had that dress and wore it when she cheated on him. It’s the only explanation here.
PS. You’re fucking stunning x— Rachel Hawkins (@ourrachblogs) April 29, 2019
But the best response came from ASOS, you know, the online retailer people.
Here’s to finding our perfect match Thea babe, let’s talk. Check your DMs…

They used the picture the guy didn’t like to sell the dress online (it’s £75, in case you’re interested).
Beautifully done!
OMG ASOS I love you

This is my favourite outcome to any tweet I’ve ever seen. https://t.co/arfDB6uPhi

Amazing, and actually, it’s amazing to see what the dress looks like on a real woman in a real setting. I wouldn’t have bought the dress based on the original pictures but seeing Thea’s picture I want it!!
