Dublin’s terrible Daenerys Targaryen wax figure got a next-level roasting – 18 hilarious comments

With Game of Thrones just about as popular as it’s ever likely to get, it’s hardly surprising that Dublin’s National Wax Museum should be interested in capitalising on that with a likeness of at least one of the figures. The one they chose was Daenerys Targaryen – the Mother of Dragons – but “likeness” probably isn’t the right word.

The figure was revealed on buzz.ie‘s Facebook page, with these words:

“Dublin’s National Wax Museum today unveiled their ‘lifelike figure’ of Daenerys Targaryen from Game Of Thrones.

The model took over six months to complete with artist PJ Heraghty using stills, 3-D imaging and video footage to fashion the likeness.”

The good people of Facebook – and quite possibly some of the bad ones – had plenty to say about the “lifelike figure”.
