Gorillas posing in a ranger’s selfie is the best thing you’ll see this week
When a worker at the Virunga National Park in the Democratic Republic of Congo took a selfie, catching two of the parks gorillas in the background, it was clear that the highly intelligent primates had picked up a few posing tips from humans.
The humans in the photo are Mathieu, who took the photo, and Patrick, but the real stars are the female gorillas, Ndakazi and Ndeze, who, according to the caption on the Instagram photo, are always “acting cheeky”. We love them already.
The photo hit the news.
"Another day at the office…": These gorillas were photographed apparently mimicking human behavior, in a remarkable selfie with a park ranger who helped rescue them as babies. https://t.co/VqA0jXTqFX pic.twitter.com/dN4ZAyibde

Virunga also tweeted it out.
You might have recently seen caretakers Mathieu and Patrick’s amazing #selfie with female orphaned gorillas Ndakazi and Ndeze inside the Senkwekwe center here at Virunga. Is it real? Yes! Are these gorilla gals always this cheeky? Yes! #gorillaselfie pic.twitter.com/jINBr8HXx7

Twitter took them to their hearts.
It's the clear photobombing of the second gorilla that I particularly love. https://t.co/6JukjsMc2b

Writer and actor, Adil Ray, had his suspicions.
The one on the left is definitely Rowan Atkinson. https://t.co/m95nMjrjpP

One Twitter user read a whole lot into one (female) gorilla’s selfie stance.
This gorilla looks like his twitter bio reads “proud father to two beautifully girls, Man U for live, hate political correctness #leavemeansleave” pic.twitter.com/cMRXrkLHlt

She looks far too intelligent for that.
