Boris Johnson says he’s fed up with young people’s opinions – the only 9 takedowns you need
Once and future prime minister wannabe Boris Johnson is fed up with young people sharing their opinions and he’s just not going to take it anymore.
Prompted, no doubt, by those quite amazing climate change protests by school children all over the country (and the world), here’s what the former foreign secretary had to say.
.@BorisJohnson: 'I am utterly fed up with being told by nice young people that their opinions are more important than my own' https://t.co/uxZnN95Oqn

Here’s a little bit of what he had to say. The free bit, before you have to subscribe to the Telegraph.
That’s quite enough of that, thanks very much. There was no end of people who had something to say in response, of which these are our favourites.
1.
Boris there, using a weekly opinion column in a national newspaper to tell teenagers with no platform concerned that their world might burn that he's sick of hearing their opinions. On Earth Day. https://t.co/vvU7R42l2j

TFW you’re bored of being an arsehole to Muslims and immigrants and you decide instead to use your national platform to shit all over *checks notes* children asking if you wouldn’t mind leaving them a viable fucking planet to live on.

Funnily enough I’m utterly fed up of being told anything at all by a man whose overweening ambition has wrought such damage & cost us so much money in exchange for NOTHING AT ALL. Garden bridge? Water cannons? Lies on a bus? A long period of silence would be most welcome

Boris Johnson gets paid £275k a year by the tax-dodging Sark-based Barclay brothers who own the Telegraph to write this rubbish – a lot more than his MP's salary. Guess where his loyalties lie. Most of us would call this corruption. It should be banned. #PeoplesVote #Brexit https://t.co/kdkbhsbZya

I love the way the paywall slowly fades the text, mirroring my interest in reading any more of this blond tart’s masturbatory pifflings

I am utterly fed up with being told by old men with national platforms that their opinions and bank accounts are more important than decades of climate science and the continued survival of life on earth https://t.co/Xmu6WvjTVF

You have a weekly @Telegraph column and feel your opinions aren’t appreciated enough compared to kids on the street?

In short …
Fuck your feelings, you asbestos-haired fartbox. Everyone's opinions are more important than your shitty ones. https://t.co/R7CO3JFRdX
