People can’t believe this unintentionally funny scene from Meet Joe Black
If you haven’t seen the film Meet Joe Black, firstly – this clip isn’t the spoiler it seems to be, and secondly, it’s been out since 1998, so even if it were a spoiler, whose fault is that? Comedian and writer Rose O’Shea shared the snippet after noticing just how much happens between Brad Pitt and Claire Forlani, and you have to watch to the end.
This is the most bonkers one minute of a movie that I have ever seen pic.twitter.com/wjRxHlIBO4

The tweet has picked up over 15,000 retweets in a day, with over 1.8m views, possibly because people are watching it two or three times to look for the cut where they inserted the dummy.
Actor Rob Delaney recalled seeing it back in the day.
I was at a screening at which director Martin Brest was present and I had to run out at the end so I didn’t scream at him.

That doesn’t sound like an endorsement, and neither does this comment from film critic, Kayleigh Donaldson.
If you've not had the pleasure of watching all THREE HOURS of Meet Joe Black, these 80 seconds will suffice, I assure you. https://t.co/69mOLNTnJY

Nor this one from writer Mark Hemingway.
Meet Joe Black was so long it had an intermission when I saw it in theaters. And it was so bad that if you suffered through it, you know this was the feel good moment of the film. https://t.co/e3ubGKGJed

It turns out that the scene proved far more amusing than was probably intended.
True story: I walked into the living room just as this scene happened. I busted out laughing and was later shocked when I found out that wasn’t the final scene of the movie

Hardest I’ve ever laughed in a cinema. My mate was deeply moved by it and wouldn’t talk to me the whole way home on the 213. https://t.co/nUWwoMOTOy

This is the funniest fucking sketch I’ve ever seen and it’s not actually a sketch, it’s a scene from the drama “Meet Joe Black.” https://t.co/Bb9YtqyQT0
