Theresa May’s meeting with Angela Merkel got off to the most awkward start
Theresa May was in Berlin today to meet Angela Merkel to ask for something – anything – she can do to help out with the Brexit mess we find ourselves in.
The summit didn’t get off to entirely the best start, however, when the so-called prime minister stepped out of the car onto the red carpet and this happened.

Merkel did eventually turn up, only for things to get even worse when May was forced back out onto the red carpet a second time.
