Prince Harry said he wanted Fortnite banned and the internet said “Game on” – 12 savage takedowns
At a YMCA in London, Prince Harry, or to give him his full title, ‘Meghan Markle’s husband’, said that he thought social media and gaming are very dangerous because they’re so addictive. I have absolutely no idea what he was talking about.
He singled out the hit game Fortnite, which has been in the news due to its highly addictive nature.
Where is the benefit having that game your household? It’s created to addict, an addiction to keep you in front of a computer for as long as possible. It’s so irresponsible.’

Although the prince is one of the more popular Royals, his remarks drew some scathing reactions.
Do you want teens to overthrow your monarchy? Because this is how teens overthrow your monarchy. https://t.co/dhc5jIh2bA

So Prince Harry wants Fortnite banned.
It's a shame he didn't stop his grandad from getting addicted to Grand Theft Auto…

Yeah – who wants their kids indoors playing video games when they could be outside in gangs running around with knives. Knife crime is an issue – video games are not.

The money spent on his fucking wedding could have sent every child in the UK on holiday for a fortnite. https://t.co/y7gPihEOx9

Not sure I'd be arguing that things that bring no obvious benefit should be banned if I were a member of the Royal Family. https://t.co/tNPeK0ZqYp

Comedian Ronny Chieng had one serious clapback for the Duke of Sussex.
Unfortunate because after Brexit the UK might become real life Fortnite. https://t.co/MwwjLKS79w

Too real, Ronny. Too real.
