This mum pranked her lazy husband with a fake shopping list and went wildly viral

Well here’s one way of getting your revenge on a partner who you feel just isn’t pulling their weight around the house.

Give them a fake shopping list, as demonstrated by this Facebook blogger called Baby Sideburns. It clearly struck a chord because it went wildly viral, all around the world.

Here’s how she introduced it.

And this is what she did.

– 3% milk

– seedless strawberries

– fat-free hummus

– what thing (the ones in the blue box)

– unsour cream

– diet Diet Coke (you might have to ask because it’s new)

– organic pop tarts

Just beautifully done, although the confusion he would have felt is presumably nothing different to how we feel every time we go to the supermarket.

Here are just a handful of the responses it generated. And there were a LOT of responses.

‘The thing is, my husband calls me no matter what I send him for, every time. Part of what makes this funny!’

“I sent my man to the store for black pepper and he text saying ‘I only see red green and yellow peppers. No black.’

‘Jokes on her. All he read was: Milk, Strawberries, Hummus, Snack chips, Coke, Pop tarts.

‘Knowing my luck, my husband would order it all off Amazon.’
