Andrew Neil asking the Lib Dems why their by-election candidate’s gone missing is just brilliant TV
You could be forgiven for missing it but there was a by-election in south Wales last night, as Labour held onto the Newport West seat but with a reduced majority.
If you missed it, you weren’t the only one, because the Lib Dem candidate didn’t even turn up to the election count and on the BBC’s live coverage, Andrew Neil was very keen to find out why.
The result – TV gold.

Beautifully done.
This is what happens when politicians trot out the same nonsense and are eventually pressed on their comments.
