If only all police force’s appeals for information was as entertaining as this one, they’d put Crimewatch on every night of the week.
This arm of Nottinghamshire police put out a Facebook appeal with a difference after a shoplifter made the unfortunate mistake of dropping their mobile phone.
But that was only the start of the tale.
So much to enjoy there. And the comments it prompted on the force’s Facebook page weren’t bad either.
Not everyone appreciated it …
But they were wrong, obviously.
