Water flowing onto a dam’s spillway is an accidental ASMR video

Most people have encountered ASMR by now – autonomous sensory meridian response – a soothing, tingling sensation some people experience when watching or listening to certain types of things, such as sand being raked, hair being brushed or whispering. There are thousands of deliberate ASMR videos online, but sometimes they happen accidentally, like this clip of the Oroville Dam spillway, just doing its job.

The combination of the running water sounds and the regular movement are quite soothing, until the people who repaired the spillway spoil it by talking. We highly recommend it as an antidote to any Brexit news you might have seen recently.
