It’s one of the unfortunate consequences of driving a car, those petty standoffs with another driver when neither of you wants to give way, whether it’s a parking space or a narrow lane only wide enough for one vehicle.

But we’ve never been in a standoff as epic as this, a hilarious tale of outrageous pettiness as recounted by a Twitter user called Chicken Tikka Maria, recorded on her phone overlooking a car park in Los Angeles.
