A pro-Brexit MP complained about voting options and got schooled on politics
Conservative MP David Davies – not David Davis – wasn’t a bit happy with the options selected by the Speaker John Bercow for the Brexit indicative votes. He was so incensed, he took to Twitter to share his edited voting sheet.
MPs were denied the right to vote for a full WTO Brexit on the ballot paper tonight. It was a choice between soft Brexit, no Brexit or holding another referendum to get a different answer. So much for democratic innovation of “indicative votes” pic.twitter.com/C6gUdUlsms

There were several problems with this, and he soon found out what they were.
It's not on the ballot because WTO Brexit does not exist. No-deal Brexit, which you think you're referring to, is the default position, so no need to vote on it. Also you didn't close those brackets. https://t.co/bj8KCCwdE1

Your regular reminder that David's constituency voted to Remain inside the European Union #indicativevotes2 #brexitstorm https://t.co/d6IsA7TApi

Jesus. That's the legal default position anyway. Imagine being the least intelligent of MPs called David Davi(e)s. https://t.co/aYov1PhbkW

Siri, show me a Member of Parliament acting like a spoiled toddler when told Unicorn Tear Flavoured Angel Delight is not available. https://t.co/M9ytZQThRU

Sometimes my 3yo daughter is given the option of watching Sarah & Duck or Hey Duggee, but throws a tantrum because she wants to watch Bing, even though the rest of us have already rejected it as an option because its fucking terrible.
Also, here's a tweet by an actual MP. https://t.co/3LYsy5fipS

We REALLY REALLY need to insist on some kind of induction course for our MPs. In no other job would you be allowed to display @DavidTCDavies levels of ignorance and stay in employment.

Leaving without a deal is a "WTO Brexit", and is the default position right now, so rejecting all options is effectively that.
Not knowing anything about EU politics is bad enough, but not knowing ABOUT THE VOTES YOU'RE ACTUALLY VOTING ON RIGHT NOW is horrendous.
Step down.

MP Stella Creasy administered a burn so serious, it triggered Julia Hartley-Brewer.

So respectful of your fellow MPs. Just imagine Stella’s response if a male MP had tweeted the same comment about her… https://t.co/ngSJxG34Qv

We’ll leave you with Stella’s perfect response.
Um I’m confused – is Julia suggesting women can’t use crayons and draw on ballot papers like children? Well now that is a challenge….. https://t.co/C2fitcIUyu
