This mum’s tweet about her child saying ‘blossom’ wrong got people all misty-eyed about their children’s similar mistakes
Well here’s a lovely tweet to pierce the gloom, a mum sharing how her youngest child says ‘blossom’ wrong and dreading the moment when they start getting it right.
Sometimes when your child gets a word wrong it's so adorable you're terrified they will realise the mistake and stop saying it. Youngest has been calling blossom "flossem" and it's a better word.

And it prompted a whole bunch of other parents to share the mistakes their children make, in just a lovely thread about love, life and the passing of time.

My son says chicklit chops instead of chocolate chips and I will never call them anything else from now on. He was also recently trying to remember what hot cross buns were called and eventually landed on “X Cakes”.
