13 favourite things people are saying about signing the ‘Revoke Article 50’ petition
A petition calling on the government to revoke Article 50 and allow the UK to remain in the EU has gone so viral that the petitions website kept crashing on Thursday.
But it hasn’t stopped hundreds of thousands of people signing the petition in the wake of Theresa May’s statement outside Downing Street last night.
And here are 13 of the best things people are saying about it right now.
1.
I’ve signed this petition to revoke A50 and deal with the consequences afterwards – referendum, election, whatever. I have no idea whether these things do any good but after May’s astonishingly irresponsible speech this evening I’ll give anything a go. https://t.co/1XuQW3vuve

So please make sure she does by:
1) signing this petition
2) coming on the #PutItToThePeople march on Saturday.https://t.co/5h55n9RWNU— David Schneider (@davidschneider) March 20, 2019

God knows we've tried everything else. 600k signatures and rising by 2k a minute. Sign it, click the link in the email to verify, pass it on. A brief use of collective impotent fury and a tiny squeak into the black holes of our futures, but it's something. https://t.co/k5sWTe0YWv

I’ve signed this petition & I’ll be marching on Saturday with my wife and kids. In years to come, when future generations look back on Brexit and how this country was taken over by fanatical ideologues, to the left & to the right, they’ll ask “where were you? What did you do?” https://t.co/updXDZ42OR
