This 6-second video has gone viral because it’s simply perfect
Remember Vine? It was to video what Twitter used to be to blogging, forcing users to be succinct and creative to get their points across. Of course, Vine has gone and Twitter doubled its character count, but that doesn’t mean people aren’t still into the whole brevity thing.
A Twitter user named Will Leinweber obviously appreciates the short form, because he has shared a 6-second clip of himself parodying an iconic moment from the world of animation – and it’s absolutely beautiful. We recommend you watch this a few times, just to take it all in.

That’s commitment to the joke, if we ever saw it. In case you’ve been in a cave for the last three decades, this is the Pixar animation Will was recreating.
His – literal – pains have not gone unappreciated. Not only has the clip had almost two and a half million views and 55k+ retweets, it’s received many appreciative comments.
Ah, the Hacker News “I could build that in a weekend” crowd. https://t.co/tg6BbvmrbH

if you know me personally and wonder what I'm doing on my computer/phone when we're together, or how I spend my time when we're apart, from now on the answer is 'watching this video' https://t.co/ems6lCbqYe

Not only is it the most appropriate use of the internet, it works so well as a metaphor.
