John Bercow has dropped a bombshell onto “Meaningful Vote 3” – 14 ayes to the right
With 10 days to go until the UK is due to leave the EU, the Speaker of the House of Commons, John Bercow, has made a pronouncement that has put the Parliamentary cat among the Eurosceptic pigeons. Invoking a rule laid down in 1604 against repeatedly putting the same motion to the House, the Speaker stated that Theresa May’s Withdrawal Agreement could only be voted upon a third time if she achieves sufficient change.

Ha ha ha ha.
Bercow disallows MV3 if it is substantially same as MV2, as the government cannot keep bringing the same motion back to the House again and again.
A parliamentary procedural rule dating back to 1604.
Oh, this is superb.

Three years they’ve had. If you’re mad at Berkow, maybe you should be a tad more livid with a government whose only plan with 11 days to go is to show up with the same rejected scrap of paper and a moustache.

I suppose events of 1604 are a bit too recent for Jacob to have got his head around just yet.

Brexiteers for months: "We won't accept May's deal. She has to secure changes. There is no point coming back with an unchanged deal"
Speaker John Bercow: 'May can't keep asking the commons to vote on the SAME thing'
Brexiteers: "This is a disgrace. How dare he say that!" pic.twitter.com/L0FLWlKwx7
