An alt-right conspiracy theorist suggested Stan Lee would disapprove of Marvel’s path and these 9 clapbacks were glorious
Pro-Trump cable TV correspondent and spreader of alt-right conspiracies, Jack Posobiec, isn’t known for being the sharpest tool in the shed, even when that shed is famously full of blunt tools. He recently expressed an off opinion about the direction of travel of Marvel, with this ill-thought-out tweet.
Imagine if Stan Lee saw what they’ve turned the MCU into…
— Jack Posobiec ☘️ (@JackPosobiec) March 9, 2019
Now, he didn’t exactly specify what he was getting at, but he posted this:
Batman: Parents murdered in front of him when he was a child
Superman: Entire planet destroyed, last of his people
Spiderman: Uncle murdered when he could have saved him
Captain Marvel: Got told "Baseball isn't for little girls"

He also urged his followers to boycott the Captain Marvel film, so his Stan Lee tweet was probably another dig at that, but he didn’t get away with it.
He’s literally in the fucking movie you fuckloaf. pic.twitter.com/oB1GoueBJQ

Your mother didn't carry you for nine months for you to weaponise a dead man because you're scared of a woman… https://t.co/SDcghoogyH

There's been literally one MCU movie released since he passed away, and he's in it
Steve Ditko, Jack Kirby and Stan Lee's comics and mindsets changed over time
Their visions stayed the same, but times change. Stan wanted diversity & equality, and that's exactly what's happening https://t.co/Qtd03znbxV

Are you upset because seeing strong women makes you impotent?

I love when bigoted trash like jack here try to weigh in on stans words, and then literally TONS of people say fuck that and share stans soapbox back at him.
You will not co-opt Stan Lee right wingers. https://t.co/u9m4g7SpTU

stan lee literally stood against everything you stand for so yeah imagine how proud he would be https://t.co/GPn5veQpto

Stan Lee created the X-Men in the sixties as an allegory for the Civil Rights movement. Go read. https://t.co/awVVkp3nmz

Idiot who knows nothing about Stan Lee evokes Stan lee while trying to score nerd points attacking the values that Stan Lee stood for.

TIL that Stan Lee's cameos in every MCU movie were all done without his knowledge. HUGE if true. https://t.co/j4C1xJeXkG

Stan Lee’s own words absolutely smash any petty theories Posobiec might have had.
The MCU not only honors Stan Lee’s legacy as a storyteller, but embodies Stan Lee’s belief in inclusion. Stan himself said that Marvel comics are for everyone, and that the Marvel fandom has no room for hate, intolerance, or bigotry pic.twitter.com/wCdCbsa7V5
