A guy mansplained a comic to the comic’s actual writer and the takedown was brutal
Writer Gail Simone thought she’d have some fun with the tendency of some men to suggest that women – and in particular, women who happen to be superheroes – should ‘smile more’.
So she said this on Twitter about another Marvel character, The Punisher.
The Punisher would be a lot prettier if he smiled more.
