16 flipping good jokes for Pancake Tuesday
It’s Pancake, or Shrove, Tuesday today – technically, a day in the Christian calendar when the faithful prepare for tomorrow’s start of Lent by having one last chance to pig out and to bring to mind their sins – including gluttony, of course. In secular society, it’s a day to push plastic lemons and nutty chocolate spread on harassed shoppers, whilst attempting the Guiness World Record for making “tosser” jokes and ruining your kitchen ceiling with greasy splodges.
Over on Twitter, people have been flexing their funny muscles to come up with these treats.
