The fluffy blue monster who speaks broken English and loves cookies is one of the most instantly recognisable residents of Sesame Street and is popular with children and adults, alike, for his simple approach to life. It was, therefore, unsurprising that when Cookie Monster held an AMA (Ask me anything) on Reddit for the Sesame Street children’s charity, there were a lot of questions, and Me_CookieMonster account did a brilliant job of staying in character – probably because he’s totally real and I’ll hear no argument on the subject.

This is how he introduced the AMA.
