A man about to lose his job at Honda went viral with a glorious 13-second Brexit takedown
Honda confirmed today that it will close its Swindon plant in 2021, with the loss of around 3,500 jobs.
It naturally prompted lots of speculation about how much the decision has to do with Brexit, after a string of closures and moves by companies to locate abroad.

This guy worked at Honda for 24 years and is among those about to lose their jobs. His 13-second takedown of Brexiteers went viral because, well, have a watch for yourself.

And he certainly seemed to strike a chord with people because he went wildly viral.
‘What are we, like, 44 days away from Brexit? And they haven’t got a clue! They can’t even decide for themselves what Brexit means.
‘This is idiocy of epic proportions.
Here are just a few of the things people are saying about it.

This bloke is bang on – I hope he will be ok

Solidarity with this man, who has clearly lost all patience with the utter stupidity and boneheaded stubbornness which is the only reason we are still proposing to go through with this lunacy

This poor man – who displays utterly admirable restraint and is still able to talk in proper sentences when most of us would just about manage a stream of invective.

It’s a personal tragedy for all those working at Honda, Swindon & a national tragedy for UK. Sadly those voting Leave will probably be those hardest hit. It was a grand deception by Leave campaign, their Brexit bus & media that’s played along with their lies. #Brexit #Honda

A man who has worked at Honda in Swindon for 24 years, on finding out his factory will close and 3,500 jobs will be lost. This is gut-wrenching.

Felt so sorry and angry for that guy. Doubt it’s all to do with Brexit, but suspect it tipped a finely balanced decision. Our reputation as a solid, predictable, business site has sustained enormous damage as a result of the farcical handling of it and there’s years more to come

I feel so sorry for people like this. This is a real person feeling real pain because of others stupidity. He has totally got it but no one in power is doing anything for him or even listening. Why is it people like this sound so sensible when compared to our politicians?
