This enormous mechanical Trump “God Emperor” will give you nightmares

When Donald Trump came to the UK, he was greeted by a gigantic inflatable version of himself, dressed in a nappy, and he wasn’t a bit happy – he almost spat his dummy out. One enormous effigy of himself we feel he would be happy with has just been unveiled in a parade in Viareggio in Italy, depicting him as a mythical “God Emperor” in a Warhammer style, and – frankly – looking quite terrifying.

The carnival’s official Instagram account, Carnevali D’Italia, shared the clip showing the monstrosity in action, and it’s almost certain to feature heavily in a lot of nightmares, much like his foreign policy, track record with women and attitude to criticism.

Created by Fabrizio Galli, whose previous parodies include Kim Jong-un and Vladimir Putin, shared this disturbing image of his work in progress.

Named “The Master Drone”, or the more punny Italian ‘Pa-Drone’, Galli’s colossus represents Trump’s all-consuming urge to dominate every sphere.

“Donald wants to go back to the moon, travel to Mars and create the first space army. Ultras Marines? Mega Marines?

The time of intellectuals, philosophers and of old and worn culture is over. We have entered the era of fantasy, videogames and virtual life.

The dominant male par-excellence has arrived, democratically, and is now here, among us. The Master-Drone flies over the Viareggio boardwalk as we prepare to pay the price.”

As he’s unlikely to understand it’s not meant to be a compliment, we think this prediction by @Ranadicus may well prove correct.
