Someone called the police because kids were sledding on snow – so they had to investigate

When police in Noblesville, Indiana received a call about children sledding on a snowy slope, it was their duty to investigate in case the children were in danger or causing a problem. They shared what happened on their Facebook page.

“Our officers got a call that kids were sledding into a dangerous area. Once they arrived they determined that the kids were being safe and responsible and not in a dangerous area. The next thing to do was to take a test run, for safety reasons and stuff.”

Facebook users have responded well to the officers’ light touch.

One suspicious Facebook user thought the story might have been tweaked a little.

However, when it was shared on Reddit, someone saw it in a very different light.

Nice work, if you can get it.
